Why Bigger is Better:
If you’re new to hooping, choosing the right size hoop can make all the difference. At GeoRev Hooping, we recommend larger hoops—like our 44" 1" HDPE design—because they’re easier to use and more effective for learning. Unlike heavy “weighted hoops” sold by other companies, our perfectly weighted, high-quality tubing allows for smoother rotations without unnecessary strain. Trust us, you do not need overly heavy hoops to work up a sweat!
When in doubt, go bigger! Most of our beginner customers (regardless of height or body shape) prefer the 44" diameter because it’s the easiest to use for waist hooping.

Tubing Options:
1" Blue HDPE (Recommended for Beginners): Economical, durable, and easy to use.
7/8" HDPE (For Athletic Beginners or Intermediate Body Hoopers): Slightly lighter and softer tubing, ideal for those who want more comfort.
11/16” Polypro (For Intermediate/Advanced Flow): The lightest of the Adult Body Hoops, this is the heaviest of the three types of polypro produced for hooping. It gets its weight from having a double thick polypro tubing wall. It is the best kind of polypro for body hooping due to the extra weight. The tubing width is about the size of your ring finger - in between ⅝” and ¾”. That is why this body hoop in the range of 32 - 36” diameter can also be used to perform off body tricks! In the range of 38 - 42”, it will be heavier, a primarily on-body hoop, and a useful tool for transitioning body hooping skills to lighter and smaller polypro hoops. We also recommend the 11/16” tubing for very small adults to body hoop with, regardless of experience or athleticism.
